Description
Jera rune earrings, rectangle emerald studs with 5×8 mm blue-green transparent emeralds (hydrothermal lab-created), tiny cubic zirconia (2 mm) set in sterling silver. The lab-created emeralds are amazing. They have a lush blueish-green color. The cubic zirconia sparkle like a diamond. So beautiful and classy with just the right amount of sparkle!
I have designed the studs in the shape of a rune, a letter of ancient Scandinavian Alphabet (Futhark)
Jera rune – “Yehr-ah” – Literally: “Year”, meaning: Harvest, reward.
This year has come to an end. It has been a tough year, testing our endurance. I think we all deserve a reward. Now at the moment when the wheel turns, there is a chance to turn your luck for the better. The time for a reset in a positive meaning.
Emerald is a very lucky stone and can be instrumental in it.
Emerald with white (imitation) diamonds are a classic combo. They match any outfit and any occasion. From formal to casual. Yet they are affordable.
These are outstanding quality synthetic gemstones (Grade A hydrothermally grown in platinum crucibles). They have the exact chemical composition of emeralds found in nature (Beryls) and are free of inclusions or color zoning. The only difference between these gemstones and natural ones is that these ones were grown in a laboratory under high pressure and high-temperature conditions (hydrothermal growth method). They can only be distinguished from the natural emerald by trained gemologists (based on the fluorescence under UV light).
A lab created gemstone is identical to the natural gemstone – it replicates in color, hardness, composition, luster, and looks. Very often lab created stones have better quality and fewer flaws and inclusions than the real ones. And, last but not least, a natural emerald of the same size and quality would cost a lot more.
The earrings are stud model, on sterling ear pins.

Emeralds are fascinating gemstones. The name emerald comes from the Greek ‘smaragdos’ via the Old French ‘esmeralde’, and really just means ‘green gemstone’. In top quality, fine emeralds are even more valuable than diamonds. However, this is a misconception that all emeralds are expensive. Lower quality emeralds are quite affordable, so June people can always receive an affordable gemstone as a gift. The best emeralds come from Colombia. Fine emeralds are also found in other countries, such as Zambia, Brazil, Zimbabwe, Madagascar, Pakistan, India, Afghanistan and Russia.
The green of the emerald is the color of life, beauty and of constant love.
Emerald is so beneficial that naming its positive qualities would take many pages. However, one quality deserves a special mention: the stone is healing for the eyes and can improve eyesight.
