Chrysoprase
Chrysoprase is a translucent chalcedony that ranges in color between yellowish-green and green. Its green color is usually caused by traces of nickel.
If the Chrysoprase crystal has found its way into your life, take it as a sign that you’re in need of an emotional makeover. Known for manifesting optimism, joy, and happiness, the Chrysoprase crystal stone is one of the best antidepressants in the world of crystal healing. If you have a checklist of garden-variety emotional ailments like depression, anxiety, and stress, Chrysoprase crystal properties are an effective prescription for encouraging a more positive outlook on life. Keep this gemstone in your corner and remember to always look on the bright side, even during cloudy weather.
Similar to other heart chakra stones such as Rose Quartz and Jade, Chrysoprase helps attract the abundance of love, which makes it a gem when it comes to matters of the heart. If you’re struggling with heartbreak or loneliness, this beautiful stone has the power to instantly whisk you away to the pristine shoreline of a tropical paradise surrounded by dazzling emerald waters.
Read more about chalcedony here
Chalcedony is a member of the Quartz family with a cryptocrystalline structure, perfect for magnifying its crystal energy to soothe and restore balance, from the conscious mind to the inner child, all the way down to the animal self. Its name may be derived from the Greek port city of Chalcedon.
Chalcedony is known as the Speaker’s Stone, the stone of one who must measure his words. It encourages reflection and meditation, its gentle radiance preparing us for action but helping to hold back words we might regret. The great Roman orator, Cicero, is said to have worn one around his neck.
Considered a nurturing stone, Chalcedony absorbs negative energy and dissipates it before it can be passed on. It promotes brotherhood and good will, opening the mind to new ideas, instilling feelings of benevolence and generosity.
Chalcedony was considered a sacred stone by the Native American Indians, using it to promote stability during their ceremonial activities. It is still in use today for meditations, and as a pathway for receiving successful thought transmissions.
Aventurine is a member of the same family. Green Aventurine is known as the “Stone of Opportunity,” thought to be the luckiest of all crystals, especially in manifesting prosperity and wealth, or for increasing favor in competitions or games of chance. Its winning energy makes it a great ally for boosting one’s chances in any situation – a first date, tax audit, even landing a promotion. One needs only to be near it to derive its benefits.
