One of the things I like about etsy are Etsy treasuries. Pick up any items you like, sort them, and you have a board full of virtual gifts. If you can not afford them all, you can still look at them and enjoy them. Learning how to make treasuries has been a whole process. What I could not understand is why etsy – besides a heart button – does not have an “add to treasury” button. You can easily make up a list of things you like, but try to convert them to a treasury! The advertised widgets and tools like “shmetsy” do not help a bit. So now I first make up a list of favorite items and then right click on each image to “copy link location” which I subsequently paste into the URL window of the active treasury. It’s not the direct way but sure it helps.
Today an etsian colleague has given me a link to a tool called etsy treasury HTML code generator which allows to insert treasuries into your blog or webpage to promote them. Thank you Linda for a great piece of advice! So now everyone can enjoy this gorgeous purple collection made by another etsian from my “All Handmade by Me” team.
