Design and materials
Inspired by a real pine forest. It stays evergreen and fresh all year round. Every Christmas/New Year we celebrate the re-birth with a Christmas tree, which is also a family of pine.
The green color is the color of the eternal youth. Two green eyes made of precious emeralds are watching you behind the branches, pine needles and pinecones.
This pine tree forest ring is a unique piece of pmc jewelry. I have sculpted all details by hand, using the real plant as a model.
Pmc aka precious metal clay is an innovative material which allows to sculpt jewelry in clay and get fine – 999 – silver as a result. Though pmc is less popular for rings because it is considered to be more fragile as compared to sterling silver, this ring has a double band design which makes it more sturdy and massive. The only point is that 999 silver is soft and the texture can become less pronounced with time. Especially if you will keep this ring on when doing household chores or working in the garden.
The marquise-shaped genuine transparent emeralds are of fine A-grade quality. Origin: India. Size: 8×3 mm.
